Anna Dolores Shafarsky

Anna “Dolores” Shafarsky of Stony Point passed away peacefully at her home on September 2, 2021 with her loving family at her side. Dolores was born on August 23, 1938 in Suffern, New York to William and Marie (Brophy) Cable. She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Hurley of Stony Point, her sons Jack (Cathy), Steven (Gina), and Robert (Norine) all of New Windsor and her sister Sally O’Dell of Harriman, along with her 14 grandchildren and her 20 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband, Daniel, her son William and her sister Mary Wilson. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at TJ McGowan Sons Funeral Home in Garnerville, NY. Funeral mass will be held on Thursday, 10 am at Immaculate Conception Church, Stony Point, NY followed by interment at Frederick Loescher Veterans Cemetery.
