Barbara Roberts

Barbara Roberts died on Monday, February 10, 2020 at Nyack Hospital following a brief illness. Barbara was born on August 14, 1942 at Nyack Hospital. She was a life-long resident of Garnerville and a graduate of Haverstraw/Stony Point High School Class of 1961. After high school she worked as a Nursing Assistant at the Robert L. Yeager Health Center in Pomona, NY until her retirement in 2006. Barbara is predeceased by her mother, Loretta (Eckie) Roberts; Uncles William, Thomas, John and Richard; and Aunts Nora, Mary and Catherine. She is survived by her cousin Donna Stuber and family of Circleville; cousin Paula Roberts and family of Thiells; and lifelong friends, the LaGrow Family of Garnerville. Barbara was also the beloved "Auntie Barb" of Kaitlyn and Lauren LaGrow of Garnerville. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2020 at 12 noon at the T.J. McGowan Sons Funeral Home, 71 N. Central Highway, Garnerville, NY. Interment to follow at St. Peter's Cemetery, Haverstraw, NY. In lieu of flowers, friends who wish may donate in Barbara's memory to United Hospice of Rockland.
