Eugene Wilhelmn Lawrence Jr. died on February 6, 2026, at the age of 71.

Born in San Francisco, Gene lived most of his life in Greenwood Lake, NY. He attended Irvington High School in Fremont, California. He was a Painter by trade and was retired from his own business, Classic Painting.

He believed in doing little things in life well and with great love. Watching the Oakland Raiders and USC football teams were his favorite pastimes along with cooking, baking gardening and landscaping.

He is survived by his loving partner Joan Felice Hay of Greenwood Lake, his sons Robert and Craig and his siblings Margene, Ginger, Debbie, Betsy, Tammy, Linda, Jonette, and Dale. Gene was predeceased by his mother Pauline Gallego, his father Eugene Wilhelmn Lawrence and his sister, Diana.

At his request, there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at a later date when his cremated remains will be buried according to his wishes at St. Peter's Cemetery in Haverstraw, New York.
