Margaret Meyer

Margaret Meyer, 68, of Saratoga Springs, NY formerly of Stony Point, passed away on November 28, 2019. She was born on April 25, 1951 in New York City to John & Margaret (Burns) Kelly. Margaret married the love of her life Gary Meyer on June 6, 1971 in St. Peters Church in Haverstraw. She worked as a secretary for the North Rockland School District at Thiells Elementary School for approximately 26 years. Margaret enjoyed taking walks, going to the beach but most of all she loved playing tennis. She is predeceased by her parents and Margaret is survived by her loving husband Gary of Saratoga Springs, formerly of Stony Point, a retired detective from the Town of Havestraw police department, her beloved children Kelly Auriemmo of Poughkeepsie, NY, Jim (Kirsty) Meyer of New Zealand, Paul Meyer of Sylva, North Carolina, her cherished and adored grandchildren Caitlin, Jessica, Clara and Hazel, her caring brothers & sister John, Rob, Michael, Richard Kelly and Jeanne Hudock. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will be receiving friends & relatives on January 8th from 4 – 7 PM for a memorial visitation at the TJ McGowan Sons Funeral Home 71 N. Central Highway Garnerville, NY 10923. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Margaret’s memory to St Jude’s Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
