Michael Cinquemani of Garnerville, NY passed away on November 7, 2018 after a long battle with cancer with his family by his side. He was born on August 25, 1962 in Bronx, NY to John & Eva Cinquemani. Mike worked as a Head Custodian for multiple Rockland County School Districts before retiring in 2010. Michael loved and was dearly loved by his wife Jacqueline. His son Michael was his shining joy. Michael was known for his love of his family and friends. He was the center to many circles of friends. These friends (brothers) who provided love, care and friendship for many years. He enjoyed smoking cigars on his deck and the occasional fishing trip. A special thanks to all of his family and friends who helped and comforted him throughout his illness. He is survived by his loving wife Jacqueline and his precious son Michael, brother John (Margaret) Brother-in-law Robert Christie and Sister-in-law Patty Cinquemani. Also survived by brother-in-law Peter Caramanica (Carolyn), Sister-in-laws Anita Bocassi (Frank), Nancy Hartigan (Jimmy), Michelle Peifley (Robert) numerous nieces and nephews who adored and was adored by Uncle Mike. He was predeceased by his parents, brother Frank, sister Eva, Father and Mother-in-law Pete & Luz Caramanica and brother-in-law Edward Caramanica. Michael’s family will receive friends and relatives on Sunday, November 11, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM, and on Monday, November 12 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at T.J. McGOWAN SONS FUNERAL HOME, 71 N. Central Highway, Garnerville, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Michael on Tuesday, November 13 at 10 AM at St. Gregory Barbarigo Church, Garnerville, with interment to follow at St. Anthony’s Cemetery in Nanuet. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be to United Hospice of Rockland.
