Patricia Golio

Patricia Ann Golio, 79, of Garnerville, New York, passed away peacefully on April  4, 2026. Born on January 12, 1947 to John and Victoria O’Neill,  Pat was known for spoiling her family and friends with a delicious meal that she carefully prepared.  Pat was a devoted wife, mother and sister. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and crafts. She will always be remembered for her generous nature and her love of celebrating everyone she cared about.

After marrying Dominick Golio and raising her family, Pat dedicated herself to working with students in the North Rockland community.  For 20 years, Pat worked as a lunch monitor where she enjoyed the curious nature of the middle schoolers she supervised.  She also worked as a bus aide where she made sure the students traveled to and from school safely.

Pat is survived by her husband, Dominick Golio, her son, John (Lahna) Golio , her son Dominick (Lynne) Golio, her grandchildren Shane Golio, Alex Golio, Christopher Golio and Natalie Golio, and her brother Jack (Nancy) O’Neill.  Pat is also survived by her nieces, nephews, cousins and sister-in-law.  She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Victoria O’Neill and her cousin, Jimmy Hicks.

A wake will be held on Thursday, April 9 from 4:00 to 8:00pm at TJ McGowan Funeral Home in Garnerville, New York.  A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church in Garnerville, New York on Friday, April 10 at 11am.
