Patricia “Pat” V. Naughton – Manchester, NJ passed away on Saturday December 21, 2019 surrounded by her children. Pat was born in Manhattan on December 31, 1939, the daughter of Vera Gallagher and Bob Ratchford. In 1959 she married her late husband James (Jim). Together, they raised their 4 children and became long time residents of Garnerville NY where they enjoyed their many friends that became such a special part of their lives. As their children grew, she held a variety of jobs which allowed her to touch the lives of many others. Pat moved to Manchester, NJ in 2002 where she enjoyed playing bocce, reading, watching Jeopardy and attending lunches and dinners with her friends from the “birthday group” and the Women of Irish Heritage. Pat was predeceased by her mother and father, husband Jim, her sons Jimmy and Bobby and her sister Barbara. She is survived by her loving daughter Kelly (Eric), her son Kevin (Cathy), her grandchildren Meaghan, Jimmy, Kevin, Brianne and Blake; her great grandchildren, Avery and Skylar, her very special sister Nancy (Dennis) along with sisters in law, brothers in law, her niece and nephews. The family will be receiving friends and family on December 27 from 3PM-7PM at TJ McGowan Sons Funeral Home, 71 N.Central Highway, Garnerville, NY 10923. A celebration of Pat’s life will be held on Saturday December 28, 2019 at St.Gregory Barbarigo Church at 11AM. Interment to follow at Ascension Cemetery, Airmont, NY In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to AFSP – The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (afsp.org).
