Paul A. Makara

Paul A Makara passed away on Sunday December 23rd 2018 after a long battle with cancer. He was born on January 26, 1961 in Suffern NY He showed great strength and resilience and his spirit never faltered. And showed great dignity through this trying time. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and loyal friend to all. He is survived by his wife, Jody A Makara, Daughter Amanda Makara, Son Joey Makara Grand-daughters Ava Harm and Madison Makara. Father Robert Makara and Mother Martha Goetschius Makara. Brother John Makara and wife Doreen Sister Cindy Llanos and husband Rich Sister Deborah Bicknell and Husband Ron And many loving nieces and nephews, and step children. He retired from Rockland County Sheriff Dept. of Corrections where he had many friends and a lot of whom he was honored to consider as family. All who cared for him greatly and who he loved with an open heart. He will be sadly missed and forever loved. Till we meet again……….
